The Poke Mode is one of the three modes in TargetCool, an FDA-cleared, Class II medical cooling device. TargetCool Poke Mode uses the latest in infrared and temperature-controlled feedback technology to rapidly cool the scalp or skin surface to a safe, comfortable, and effective temperature for minimizing pain, bruising, and swelling.
In Poke Mode, TargetCool uses patented Precision Cooling Technology® to control and harness the force and temperature of carbon dioxide to ensure that skin or scalp surface is rapidly cooled and maintained at the optimum temperature - cold enough to achieve the desired efficacy, but warm enough to avoid patient discomfort or complications.
TargetCool is a handheld device that can deliver rapid, precise, and controlled cooling. The TargetCool Poke Mode is indicated for the temporary reduction of pain, swelling, inflammation, and bruising.
The Poke Mode in TargetCool integrates into a broad variety of injection-related workflows, including into or near the scalp, near the eyes and lips, or other delicate areas. TargetCool is handheld, portable, and easy to operate and integrate into your practice.
