As aesthetic injectors, you pride yourself in making your patients look and feel their best. But placing neurotoxin or fillers near the eyes (e.g., crow’s feet) or the lips (for lip flips or lip fillers) can be tricky. These highly vascular areas tend to bruise and swell, which can cause patients to feel less confidence and affect your reputation as an injector.
Traditional anti-bruising methods have limits. Ice and chilling fans applied after the bruise has already formed has limited efficacy. And they aren’t practical to use during the injectable workflow.
Is there a better way to minimize bruising?
