What is the Boost Mode in TargetCool®?
The Boost Mode is one of the three modes in TargetCool, an FDA-cleared, Class II medical cooling device. TargetCool Boost Mode instantly crystallizes solutions into tiny ice particles and sprays them to the skin at incredibly high speeds - fast enough to enhance the absorption and delivery experience of your topical rejuvenation solutions. This process of spraying these ice particles at high speeds is called “IceNeedling.”
In Boost Mode, TargetCool uses patented Precision Cooling Technology® to control and harness the force and temperature of carbon dioxide to ensure that the solution is frozen and sprayed at the optimum temperature - cold enough to achieve the IceNeedling phenomenon but warm enough to avoid patient discomfort or complications.
TargetCool is a handheld device that can deliver rapid, precise, and controlled cooling. The TargetCool Boost Mode is indicated for the temporary reduction of pain, swelling, inflammation, and bruising.
